The victims of 9/11 included citizens of 62 countries and the ensuing “war on terror” has taken lives, limbs and liberties around the globe. While 28Pages.org focuses on promoting activism by U.S. citizens, others have asked us what they can do in their own countries to help bring the 28 pages to light.
If you live outside the United States, your goal is to pressure the government of your country to pressure the U.S. government to release the 28 pages.
What to Say When Calling or Writing Your President/Prime Minister/Foreign Minister
The 9/11 attacks and their aftermath have affected the entire world. Given that, all the citizens of the world have an interest in fully understanding who enabled the 9/11 hijackings—including state sponsors of the hijackers.
U.S. President George W. Bush classified a 28-page chapter of a congressional intelligence inquiry into 9/11. Former U.S. Senator Bob Graham said, “The 28 pages primarily relate to who financed 9/11 and they point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as being the principal financier.” Graham and many others familiar with the pages have said their release would pose no threat and would only help citizens more fully understand the roots of terrorism.
Members of the American legislature, along with citizens and journalists, are pressuring the U.S. government to release the 28 pages and I am asking that you support that effort by exerting diplomatic pressure on the U.S. government to release this information to the world. I urge you to introduce a resolution that urges our own government exert diplomatic pressure on the U.S. government to release this information to the world.
